Sonia Rolland is a French actress and former Miss France (2000) she has also competed at Miss Universe. She is the first African-born Miss France pagant winner. Born to a Tutsi mother and a French father, the family fled the civil unrest in Rwanda in 1990 to the neighbouring country of Burundi.
